Summer is almost over, or so it seems. There never seems to be enough time to do all the fun summer things you want to do.
Doug, Kyle and Ryan just got back from 4 days in Iowa at the FCF Rendezvos. They had a great time and came home with several BLINGage as they would call it. They all won at competitions and over all I think they are looking forward to going again in 2 years.

Our little grandson Kaiden is getting bigger every day. He is 5 weeks old already. Time sure does fly. It is so nice to have Melissa and Aaron living here by us so we can see them often.

Katie and Mark are still trying to find the right house to buy and settle into. God is so good and I know He will help them find what fits their needs. Oh, if you haven't heard, Mark and Katie are expecting our second grandchild Feb. 17.

Kyle is excited about this being his last year in school. Yes! he is going to be a Senior and looking forward to moving on in life. He plans to attend the Police Science course at Mid-State and become a Police Officer.

Ryan is going to be heading into JR high this year. It will be something new for him since we have been home schooling him for quite a few years now but I know God will be with him every step of the way and soon he will conquer all his fears.

Our family is getting ready to take some much needed R&R to Door County in a few weeks. It's the one family tradition that we have with all the kids and it's made some great memories over the years. Although our clan keeps getting bigger, we still manage to get everyone to come most of the time.
